Case study

Konka training app

A full set of empty-state illustrations and sport icons for Konka — an iOS training app that rewards variety and consistency, syncing with Garmin to turn your activity into something you actually want to look at. Konka is live on the App Store, and a complete new version is currently in the works.

Illustrations that make training data feel human

Konka motivates you to push your own limits — not against others, but against yourself. The brief was to bring warmth and personality to what is usually cold, chart-heavy fitness data: home screen, statistics, groups, heart-rate zones and an activity map.

My role was to design every empty-state illustration and the full family of sport icons, and to help shape the overall app design alongside the team. With version one now live on the App Store, we're deep into building a completely new version — rethinking the whole experience from the ground up.
